Boston LeBron James returned to action with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night against the Boston Celtics after missing eight games due to abdominal strain.

After the 36-year-old James finished his shooting session and walked off the field about an hour before the game, the Lakers tweeted that “The King has arrived…and will play.” “He’s back,” the team later added.

Earlier, coach Frank Vogel said that James’ decision was match time.

The Lakers went 3-5 without James.
