Put a sweater on your black friday list
happy thanks giving. We had a nice day with warm sunshine but today is the last day we see the mild 70’s until next weekend. The feeling of winter returns tomorrow night. Evening temperatures dip into the 50s tonight with sunrise lows in the high 40s to the low 50s.
Tomorrow a weak cold front is moving our way to increase the clouds. The front will remain mostly dry but a few light sprinkles in the morning may develop across southern Georgia. By afternoon it passes south of our area and the clouds sweep away by evening. Temps on Black Friday will be in the mid-’60s up.
Tomorrow night temperatures drop rapidly into the mid-40s along the coast to the upper-low 30s west of Jacksonville on Friday night. In southeast Georgia, near freezing temperatures are possible on Saturday mornings.
Scattered areas of frost will be possible across inland southeast Georgia and the Suwannee Valley early Saturday morning.
This weekend will be dry with mostly sunny skies on Saturday and cooler highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
Sunday will be more murky as another dry front rushes in with the retention of temps in the 60s until at least Thursday next week.
