We’re starting to see some changes today as we make our way through a dry day.

You may also notice a few scattered clouds this afternoon but the overcast day will stop until tomorrow.

Today will also be warmer as altitudes will finally rise in the upper 70s to about 80 W of Highway 301. More moisture is back resulting in some thick fog overnight under calm conditions.

Most of the fog will target inland areas overnight as temperatures dip into the 50s and lows of the 60s

along the coast.

Tomorrow will be more cloudy but still warm in the upper 70s to nearly 80 indoors.

Look for dry conditions except for isolated showers south of Gainesville to St Augustine.

On Friday morning, a front passes in Jacksonville with winds from the north of 15 to 20 mph with gusts of up to 30 mph. Skies are clear with cooler highs in the lower 70s.

Only scattered showers could be seen this weekend in St. John’s and Flagler Counties. A wild breeze can raise the water levels in the Atlantic Ocean to 1.5 to 1.5 feet in height with some slight fears of flooding.
