Lawyer says Gabi Pettito’s fiancé Brian Laundry is missing now too
His lawyer said the missing fanatic of Van Life blogger Gabi Pettito has also disappeared.
Brian Laundry, who was identified by police as a VIP after his fiancée’s disappearance, refused to speak to the police after returning alone from the couple’s road trip across the United States.
Mr. Laundry has not been seen for several days, according to his attorney, who told Florida police that his family had not seen him since Tuesday.
“The Laundry family’s attorney called FBI investigators on Friday night, indicating that the family wanted to talk about their son’s disappearance. The family now claims they haven’t seen Bryan since Tuesday of this week,” North Port Police media officer Josh Taylor told New York Post.
In a statement posting a photo of Mr Laundry and requesting information on his whereabouts, the police said they are now conducting multiple missing persons investigations regarding Mr. Wanted for any crime.
“We understand the community’s frustration, and we are disappointed too,” the North Post Police Department said.
Her family reported that Ms Pettito, 22, went missing on 11 September. The last time they heard about it was in late August. She spoke with her mother on the phone on August 25 and the family received text messages from her on August 26-27 explaining that she had a bad signal. The family has since expressed suspicion that the messages were sent from her phone.
Ms. Pettito and Mr. Laundry were on a cross-country road trip in their van, as Pettito documented the trip on social media. The duo traveled from New York in July and Ms. Pettito was last seen in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 24.
Mr. Laundry returned to his home in Northport, Florida, where the couple lived, without his fiancée. He has since refused to speak to the police, as the family said they would “remain in the background” while searching for Ms Pettito.
Since then, the family’s attorney has informed the police that his family has not seen Mr. Laundry in days and that they would like to speak with the FBI about his disappearance.
